Often people think they must commit to multiple one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer to get started on an exercise program. At Health-Core we understand that some people are simply looking for professional advice and guidance in the type of exercise they should be doing.
Who can benefit?
A Health-Core exercise program package is most beneficial for people who are motivated to exercise but they need advice or direction on how to get started or what to do for the best results. An exercise program can benefit all people from beginners to athletes, the young and the not so young. Your program will be designed specifically for you by one of Health-Core's university qualified exercise physiologists and will be based on the latest research and exercise techniques.
What are the benefits?
Your exercise program will be tailored to achieve your key health and fitness goals such as fat loss, fitness, flexibility and/or strength. Your program can be designed for sports-specific conditioning (e.g increasing your golf drive or improving your fun run time), for injury rehabilitation and prevention and/or specific health improvement for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and high cholesterol.
A successful exercise program must be flexible to suit your lifestyle and exercise interests. For example many Health-Core programs are designed for clients who need to exercise at or around home, programs can be designed using little or no equipment or for a fully equipped home or local gym. Other people find that exercising outside suits them best so programs can be designed for swimming, running, cycling, kayaking and circuit training - just to name a few.
How do I get started?
An exercise program will be designed for you after an initial consultation and assessment. This initial assessment allows us to check key health indicators such as initial fitness levels, flexibility and core strength so the program can target those areas you need most and be effective right from the start.
